October 16, 2020

Hello family:

I hope you are making every effort to stay safe during this pandemic. Just want to bring you up on a few things. First, Johnny’s five-year term as treasurer ends in 2021 and he has agreed to serve another five-year term. I am hereby appointing him to another five-year term after his current term ends in April 2021. Cousin Alice has been working with him and has agreed to continue working with him in a backup capacity.

As you probably know, our first project for the family’s park was to set up a basketball goal this past summer. I am pleased to tell you that that project has been finished. Our next project scheduled for 2021 is to level land so we can have a place to play ball and to install a horseshoe pit that meets all professional guidelines. If you have ideas on what our park effort should be for 2022 and beyond, please let me or a board member know.
Last, my six-year term as president of the family’s LLC ends in 2022. We will be renegotiating our land lease with Mr. Marshall in 2025, and I would like to lead the family’s effort through those negotiations. I am willing to serve another three to six-year term after my current term expires in 2022 so I will be in a position to lead that effort. My serving another three to six-year team will, of course, must be approved and voted on by the LLC’s Board. This can be further discussed at a Board meeting.
I will soon schedule a video conference to bring you up on other LLC matters and to hear what concerns you might have, if any. Please don’t hesitate to call me with ideas on how we can make our family and our limited liability company (LLC) stronger. You can reach me at 501-626-0642 or email me at dareen_campbell@yahoo.com.
Stay safe doing this pandemic and may God continue to bless you.
